I was lucky enough to get away from the whiskey bar I was managing at StageCoach in 2008 to go see George Jones. So amazing, one of the best performance I've witnessed in the many years of going to live events. He was playing the same time as Carrie Underwood so there was only about a few hundred people who stayed by his tent and didn't run off to that 'idol' singer. Good time indeed and was a real same to lose him the day before StageCoach began this year. RIP mr. George Jones
